Who should not use Saxenda®?
You have MEN 2 if you or any member of your family has a history of MTC. You have this disease if you have tumors in more than one gland in your body and you are allergic to liraglutide or any of the ingredients in Saxenda®. Swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat, fainting or feeling dizzy, very rapid heartbeat, problems breathing or swallowing, and severe rash or itching are all symptoms of a serious allergic reaction.
– As directed by your health care provider, inject your dose of Saxenda® Liraglutide under the skin (subcutaneous injection) in your stomach (abdomen), upper leg (thigh), or upper arm. Never inject into a vein or muscle, and never share your Saxenda® pen or needles with anyone else. You could either infect them or be infected by them.
